Will You Join Me in Prayer

James simple says, ” . . . Pray for one another . . .” (Jas 5:16). Paul says, “Praying always” and “Pray without ceasing” (Eph 6:18; 1 Ths 5:17). We receive encouragement from scriptures to intercede on behalf of others. This past week many have asked me to pray for them and with them, not because I am a preacher, but because we are Christians and we pray for each other.

Will you joined in prayer this morning?

Heavenly Father, there are so many who are in need of so many blessings today. I ask you to be with the ones recovering from surgery. I pray for our sister and friend who is undergoing treatments for cancer. I ask that you be with the families who are dealing with the loss of loved ones. Please comfort and give wisdom to the grandparents in our area who find themselves parents again because of a tragic accident that leave the care of the grandchildren to them, be with these children as they recover from their wounds. For the ones who have asked me to pray about their employment situations, I pray that they are able to find jobs, that layoffs end, or that their current employers situation improves so they can continue in their present work.

Thank you, Father, for hearing our prayers and answering according to Your will and what is best for us. Thank you for the gift of Grace through your Son our Savior.

In Jesus’ name.
