How can I say “thank You?”
What gift can I impart?
What offering is sufficient,
To compare with the gift from Your heart?
All that I own comes to nothing.
All I am seems diminutive.
Yet, all I can offer is my life – myself;
Since Your life on the Cross your did give.
I’ll do all I can in Your service,
My eternity I place in Your care.
I will live here on earth for heaven,
And look forward to meeting You there.

A poet I never really was, but you are pretty good at it! When I started reading this I thought of the song To God Be The Glory.
You are way to kind. My meter is imperfect, my rhymes sometimes contrived, but they do come from my emotions as I reflect on Christ.
Scott – have you ever thought to add your contributions to ChristianPoets? It is a posterous space put together by Randal Matheny.
I will look at it and talk to Randal.
