God, why do You love so willingly?
Why do You deal so patiently?
What motivates You to remit;
When Your creation does commit,
The very acts You cannot ignore,
The same sins You do abhor?
Why send Your Son to pay the price,
To give Yourself as sacrifice?
Why forgive the imperfect like me,
And give us a home in eternity?
Because of Your grace You freely give.
