I posted this graphic on Facebook for Central Church of Christ earlier this week. Since some of you may not follow Central or me on that social media platform, I thought I would ask you the question.

This month in the United States is the Month of Thanksgiving. Yes, it is a specific day to recall a specific moment in our history, but for many of us, this month is a reminder of all the blessings we have. I do hope you are taking the time to reflect and appreciate the blessings you have. Even if you see others seem to have more, there is still plenty to be thankful for.

Take time to inventory your life, your health, your family, your daily bread. Take time to think spiritually and the blessing God offers in Christ. Take time to tell God, “Thank You!” every single day. Remember, “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new eery morning:” Lamentations 3:22-23a

So now it is your turn to answer the question: For what are you thankful?
