God our Father,

In our world, wars begin and wars end.

In our world, economies strengthen and economies weaken.

In our nation, Presidents come and go.

In our nation, laws change with the passing of time.

In our world, what is “in” today is “out” tomorrow.

In our world, good is becoming evil and evil is becoming good.

But You, O Lord are steadfast; unchanging.

Help us to depend on You.
