This is what we are trying to do to help the victims and communities impacted by last weeks tornadoes. Currently over 250 people lost their lives and countless others received medical attention and many more lost homes. You can help:
Sunday evening at 6:00 p.m. we will be meeting at the Parrish church of Christ building to make sandwiches and prepare a food shipment for delivery tomorrow. If you would like to help make sandwiches, please come. If you have bread, sandwich meat, mayonnaise, peanut butter, jelly, etc. that you would like to bring, please do! If you would like to make sandwiches and take them to Indian Creek Youth Camp (ICYC), we can deliver them for you.
We will also meet at Indian Creek Youth Camp to prepare sandwiches on Tuesday, Thursday, & Saturday at 4pm. Deliveries will be made on Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday.
Financial donations may be made out and sent to: Parrish church of Christ, P.O. Box 118, Parrish, Alabama 35580, attn: Burt Fuller. These funds will be used to help provide food and supplies for the victims.
Please let us know of communities you know have needs!! We currently have contacts in the Cordova, AL, Tuscaloosa, AL; Birmingham, AL; Limestone County, AL; and Smithville, MS areas. We are working on contacts in several other locations, also.
