If you’re going to read my blog, you need to know a little about the person who writes it. The following is a questionnaire that Trey Morgan completed about himself on his blog. I thought sharing this was a great idea – except this is about me – not him.

1. My Favorite Movie: (in my case that would be movies)
- Comedy: The Princess Bride (“Have fun storming the castle!”)
- Action: Bourne Identity (Supremacy, Ultimatum) – the first two books were good too!
- Series: Indiana Jones
- Chick Flick: Phantom of the Opera (I also saw the Broadway traveling show)
2. My Favorite Restaurant:
- Mexican Food – Cabo San Lucas (A locally owned Mexican run experience).
- Italian – Di Vinci’s in Homewood, Alabama
- Fast Food: Chick-Fil-A, I could eat there 7 times a day . . . (Thanks, Tim Hawkins)
- Local – The Bullpen at Old York. (Great steaks and close enough I can walk from my house in Oakman, Alabama.)
3. Bands/People/Shows I Have Seen Live In Concert:
- Beach Boys and Jimmy Buffet (I grew up in Pensacola, Fl.)
- Alabama – (twice 1984 and 1998)
- Kenny Rogers / Lee Greenwood (As Trey said – take my man-card now!)
- Phantom of the Opera – (Amy’s favorite musical.)
- Wicked (A family experience there were nine of us.)
- Camelot featuring Lou Diamond Philips (My son’s first musical experience)
- Fiddler on the Roof – My favorite musical (Now I really lose my man-card!)
- Trans-Siberian Orchestra

7. Some Things I Want To Do One Day:
- See the Eagles in Concert.
- Be the Announcer at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
- See my son marry a great Christian young lady – years from now!
8. Things I LOVE To Do Now:
- Goof off with my son.
- Toss a football (shoot basketball) with Andrew and friends.
- Sit by a warm fire on a cold winter day with a good cup of coffee and a good book.
- Take a drive through the Smoky Mountains with Amy.
- My job/ministry. I love what I do.
9. Some Things I Want To See Before I Die:
- I want to see the Church growing in spirit, knowledge, and numerically.
- I want to see the Christians focusing on what is not seen (2 Corinthians 4:18).
- I want to see the Grand Canyon
- I want to see my family working a Mission trip.
10. Some People I Would Love To Hang Out with for a Day:
- My grandfathers: Herbert McCown and Ira Huckaby – (Both are no longer living, and I wish I could listen to their stories again. This time I’d take notes.)
- The American Pickers – Mike and Frank – it just be fun!
- Coach Gene Stallings – He just seems to be full of common sense the rest of the world is missing.
- The men from Parrish Church of Christ – all of us for just one day.
11. Some Things That Keep Me In Awe:
- That God gave His greatest gift so I could be with Him! (Romans 8:32)
- That God forgives me in spite of my mistakes! (1 John 1:7, 9)
- That God is patient with me when I act like a fool! (Psalm 107:17-20)
- That God loves me in spite of me! (Romans 5:8)
12. Something you may not know about me…
- I have been on-stage (called out of the audience) at Comedy Barn in Pigeon Forge, TN. (My antics made the performer lose his place for a moment.)
- I was in a College Production of The King and I. We performed at Faulkner University and at the Birmingham-Jefferson Civic Center in 1986.

Loved it. It was great to know a little more about you. I saw TSO in concert last Christmas and LOVED it. Sure can’t wait to go back again.
We saw TSO’s 2009 concert. I thought is was great. We took Andrew (age 12 at the time) he was impressed.
