Aliens in Need

Here is an offering inspired by the current and ongoing immigration battle in our nation.

Alien, poor, helpless, in need;

From poverty they long to be freed.

A people blessed by God’s grace;

Can in turn bless the whole human race.

Of the United States I do not speak;

Nor of Mexicans who freedom seek.

These thoughts are of eternal altitude;

Where Jew and Gentile both owe gratitude;

To the Savior providing salvation free;

For ALL ALIEN sinners like me.
