With two weeks left before school starts again here in Walker County, Alabama I can honestly say, “Where did the Summer go?” This summer may very well go down as one of our busiest as a family. This year the McCowns took a vacation as a three generation family to celebrate my parents’ 50th Wedding Anniversary. We also made a trip to NW Florida for my 95 year old grandmother’s funeral and then to Ohio to bury her body next to my grandfather. Andrew turned 13 and is working out 3-5 times a week with the Oakman Jr High Football program. During all this I started a daily TV series on each book of the Bible, and have had a record number of speaking engagements (including a Gospel Meeting in Tennessee) Finally, this past weekend we celebrated as our niece, Melissa McCown became Melissa Harrell (Mrs. Marcus Harrell).

Maybe now that school is starting soon, we can slow down and get back to blogging on a regular basis. . . . I would right now, but I am off to record TV this morning.
