Good morning, Father.
Today is another beautiful day to live, to work, and to serve. Today may I go about doing Your will. Help me to see not only the beauty of this day, but the beauty in the lives and hearts of the people around me. When I look into their eyes, may I look with the compassion You demonstrated in Your Son.
Thank You, Father for the health that I have. There are so many in my circle of friends and relationships that do not have good health, please be with them and those that care for them. There are men who are examples to me of what ministers should be who are currently in the hospital or are facing major surgery, please be with them. For the young lady (age 11) who had open heart surgery yesterday, I thank You for the good news of her surgery and pray for her continued recovery.
Father, as I prepare the lessons I will present from Your word this week, may I be true to Your word, and may the message impact the lives of Your people and those who visit with us. May each grow closer to You and stronger in You as they learn from You.
You alone are God, You alone are the Creator, You alone deserve my praise.
In Jesus name . . .
