Shh!  Don’t tell anyone what I saw  Tuesday night at a Public School Football game.  During the fourth quarter a freshman fell down to his knees on the field after a play.  After the paramedics looked at him, they stabilized his neck, placed him on a backboard, gurney and took him to the hospital for further tests.  After the game, the two teams shook hands and then circled in the middle of the field for a group prayer.  The prayer according to a couple of the players was specifically for the young man taken to the hospital.  Prayer at a public school football game — I for one am glad.  May we as a society always take time to pray.
